Coated fabrics are widely used in luggage customization. In order for customized luggage products to achieve functional effects such as waterproof, windproof or flame retardant, the selected fabric must be coated fabric. Then, what is coated fabric? What are the types of layered fabrics? Let's take a look at the related finishing contents of the coated fabrics of love free luggage.
Coated fabric mainly refers to the use of a special process on the basis of the fabric to coat a layer of material with special functions, so that the fabric adds special functions, so as to achieve waterproof, windproof and other functions, so it is also called functional coated fabric. The coated fabric uses a solvent or water to dissolve the required coating rubber particles (including PU glue, A/C glue, PVC, PE glue) into a salivating shape, and then in a certain way (rotary mesh, scraper or roller) ) evenly coated on the fabric (with cotton, polyester, nylon and other substrates), and then fixed by the temperature in the oven to form a uniform layer of covering rubber on the surface of the fabric.
The common types of coated fabrics mainly include the following twelve:
1. PA coating, also known as AC glue coating, that is, acrylic coating, is the most common and common coating. After coating, it can increase the feel, windproof and sag.
2. PU coating, that is, polyurethane coating, after coating, the fabric feels plump, elastic, and the surface has a film feel.
3. The anti-down coating refers to the anti-down coating, which can prevent the down from running down after coating, and is suitable for down jacket fabrics. However, any PA coating that has water pressure requirements in the coating is also called an anti-velvet coating.
4. PA white glue coating, that is, coating a layer of white acrylic resin on the surface of the fabric, can increase the covering rate of the cloth surface, make it opaque, and make the color of the cloth surface more vivid.
5. PU white glue coating, that is, coating a layer of white polyurethane resin on the surface of the fabric, the function is basically the same as PA white glue, but the PU white glue feels fuller after coating, the fabric is more elastic, and the fastness is better.
6. PA silver glue coating, that is, coating a layer of silver-white glue on the surface of the fabric, so that the fabric has the functions of shading and radiation protection, and is generally used for curtains, tents, and clothing.
7. PU silver glue coating, the basic function is the same as PA silver glue coating. However, PU silver-coated fabrics have better elasticity and better fastness. For fabrics such as tents that require high water pressure, PU silver-coated fabrics are better than PA silver-coated fabrics.
8. Pearlescent coating, through pearlescent coating on the surface of the fabric, the surface of the fabric has a pearl-like luster, with silvery white and colored. It is very beautiful to make clothes. There are also PA pearls and PU pearls. PU pearls are smoother and brighter than PA pearls, and have a better film feel. They are also known as "pearl film".
9. Oil-gloss coating, the surface is smooth and shiny after coating, generally suitable for tablecloths.
10. Silicone high-elastic coating, also known as paper-like coating. For thin cotton fabrics, it is very suitable for shirting fabrics. It feels plump, brittle and elastic, with strong resilience and wrinkle resistance. For thick fabrics, it has good elasticity and good fastness.
11. Film coating, by calendering and coating the surface of the fabric, a film is formed on the surface of the fabric, which completely changes the style of the fabric. Generally, the surface of the film is made into the front of the clothing, which has the style of leather clothing. There are two kinds of matt and light, and various colors can be added to the coating to make a color film, which is very beautiful.
12. Flame retardant coating, through the padding or coating treatment of the fabric, the fabric has a flame retardant effect. And can be painted in color or silver on the fabric surface. Generally used for curtains, tents, clothing and so on.
13. Teflon three-proof treatment, by treating the fabric with DuPont Teflon, the fabric has the functions of waterproof, oil-proof and anti-fouling.
14. Anti-ultraviolet coating, through the anti-ultraviolet treatment of the fabric, the fabric has the function of anti-ultraviolet, that is, the ability to prevent the penetration of ultraviolet rays. Generally, light colors are more difficult to do, and dark colors are easier to achieve.
